EvoStream is looking to build a core test and development team at our Manila office.  We are looking for self-motivated engineers that actively design and develop innovative solutions for complex problems. QA/Test Engineer

(National Capital Reg – Ortigas Center,Pasig City)

Job Description:

• Full-time, Day-Shift position in Ortigas Center, Pasig City. Some opportunity to work from home.
• Work with Management and Engineering to ensure the highest level of QA for cutting edge video streaming technology
• Use your creativity and diverse skills to develop intelligent testing procedures.
• This position could lead to a leadership position in either of the growing IT or QA departments.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Quality Assurance: Testing, Test Procedure Development, Test Tool Development
• Familiar with industry standards and certification, and drives efforts to bring products into conformance with assigned standards.
• Maintenance and organization of a portion of the IT infrastructure
• Divide test procedures into pieces and manage a diverse team to rapidly execute the test procedure in preparation for software releases.
• Bug Reporting and Bug Fix Validation
• Provide suggestions to management for product improvement
• Work with multi-cultural and multi-national teams.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.  Sufficient experience can satisfy this requirement.
• At least 2 years of working experience in a related field.
• Proficient in Linux and Windows OS (Scripting, configuration, etc…)
• Extensive experience in Network Configurations for Linux and Windows OS.
• Must have significant experience in software testing
• Software test plan development experience is a significant Plus!
• Additional work experience in the following areas is a PLUS: C/C++ Programming Language, Streaming Media Technologies and Network Protocols.
• Must have Good English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Must be a team player, responsible and reliable.
• Willing to work in Ortigas Center, Pasig City
